FIBRILs fibers for concrete reinforcement

Advantages of FIBRILs fibers for concrete reinforcement

Widely applicable (screeds, industrial floors, pavements, sprayed concrete, tunnel construction…)

Reduces and prevents cracks and micro pores in concrete

Reduces the risk of segregation and permeability of concrete

Increases compression, bending and tensile strength of concrete

Increase in toughness, resistance to impact, cold, rubbing and abrasion

Simple dosing into the concrete mix

Good dispersion ability

Non-hazardous and environmentally friendly material

MACRO FIBERS

Macro fibers are made from pure polymers and are structural synthetic fibers as an alternative to steel fibers. Macro fibers are structurally modified with a special treatment that enables good adhesion in the concrete aggregate. By adding concrete reinforcement synthetic fibers, we increase the strength of concrete, toughness, resistance and fire resistance of concrete even after the first crack appears, and also reduce the early shrinkage of concrete. In this way, we practically completely prevent the appearance of early cracks in concrete elements. Tornado Plus FIBRILs fibers have been tested by the Institute of Construction of Slovenia (ZAG) and verified in everyday use.

Types of fibers for reinforcing concrete

FIBRILs F – fibrillated fibers

FIBRILs FFR – non-combustible fibrillated fibers

FIBRILs S – monofilament fibers

FIBRILs SFR – non-combustible monofilament fibers

Microfibers – they are made from pure polymers and are structural synthetic fibers as an alternative to steel fibers.

Advantages of macro fibers

No risk of corrosion – better aesthetic appearance

Excellent flexibility

High strength

Higher concrete tensioning

Improving the brittleness of concrete

Lower risk of lump formation in the concrete

Reducing the number of cracks due to plastic shrinkage

Economical in comparison to traditional elements and steel fibers
